HP joins NVFF for the first time in 2016, showcasing the role of HP technology throughout the four festival villages. HP’s association with film actually began more than 75 years ago in David Packard’s garage, where he and Bill Hewlett created HP’s first product, an audio oscillator that was later sold to Disney and played a key role in supplying sound effects for its seminal work, Fantasia.
Today many of the world’s major award winning film, VFX and post production studios rely on HP Z Workstations–innovative ultra-fast and highly reliable technology that stays out of the way of creative flow. Be sure to check out the HP Technology Corner open each day at the Riverfront.

Be on the lookout for the HP Sprocket Team roaming the festival with the new pocket-sized photo printer that instantly prints 2×3″ sticky-back photos from your smartphone. Sprocket brings your favorite Film Festival memories to life with vibrant smudge-proof photos you can share, or peel and stick.
Good news for all passholders: no more wondering what film is playing where with the HP Information Stations at all of the Box Offices. All the film times, culinary seminars and wine pavilion details are at your fingertips with these touch screen time savers.
And, be prepared to be wowed at Lincoln Theatre, home to the HP VantagePoint an interactive experience on a massive scale.
